Chapter 2- school

The only thing I'm looking forward is my friend. My best friend, Heylyn. That tall, pretty, smart girl is one of the popular girl in school, despite getting good grades, she is still actively involved in sports. She is awesome. Born a ballerina, she represents the states in many sports events such as gymnast, hockey, basketball, and all what you name it...After kissing farewell to mum, I ran as fast as I could carry myself, with a 5kg schoolbag, which contain nothing more than books and stationary, and of course, water bottle.

Looking up and down, searching for the tallest girl in the whole school, I was disappointed. She is not here yet. I thought we promised to meet here a this time? Where are you, my dear? Don't leave me alone, please...I'm so lonely here...no...Heylyn, you will be here right? Lizebel! Stop thinking nonsense! She will be right here, just wait. Yes, just wait.
A light pet on my back and I turned around. The most beautiful creature I have been waiting for the last few minutes appeared to me so clearly that I do not even believe that she is right here in front of me. I was so happy, I wanted to speak, but my mouth was too hard too solid to even open itself. The eyelids of mine was just too stubborn to even blink once or twice, but just to look at the pretty face of my best friend. She, in turn, smiled her gorgeous smile to me. My heart melted instantly. I was so touched.
"Blurzable!"
She called out.
My instinct called me to wake up now. I blinked a few moments and smiled at her.
"Smartlyn!"
I shouted.
We laughed out hard.
Assemble is starting in a few moments and so Heylyn has to get back to her duty as a prefect. We bid ourselves farewell and she ran away. I see her until I lose sight of her, then only I turned back to face my class line. Next to me was a girl, which I do not know or even see her before. She stood next to me quiet. No smile, I see only hatred and dislike in her face. Maybe I was looking at her for some time. She looked up and give me a what-are-you looking- at face. I smiled at her and she was caught by surprised. Guess she was too ashamed of herself, she turned to the other side and looked at the floor. It is obvious that she is an also an ABC.
to be continued...

Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Lizebel. Telling stories is one of my favourite past time. Being able to be the main character in this story will be a great privilage. I'm thankful that I could actually be used in this story to convey important messages to the people outside there. I hope you will enjoy this story.

I'm just another ordinary kid living in the modest country of Malaysia. Being one of the most fortunate that I could participate in this multi-racial coutry, and being an American born chinese, wasn't easy afterall--at least for me. Basically, both my parents are americans but they said my great great great old grandmother was a chinese and my granddad was from Hong Kong and all those grandmother stories all started flowing out from my parents' lips which I am more or less not interested in them. I am 12 years old this year. Having two siblings, I was stuck in the middle of two different eras, one is the really cool elder brother who is now already 18 years old and a childish, dream-in-my-world little sister, which is 5 years old this year. My dad works as an accountant in a particular professional firm and my mum is a private secondary school teacher in a well-known private school. Being a middle child in the family is not wasy afterall, and since I am the 'elder sister', a lot of responsibilty lies ahead of me. Want to know my story? here it goes...

Being white inside but chinese outside, living in such one season country, wasn't my cup of tea afterall. I don't understand why is it that mum and dad wants to come to Malaysia, and to be an immigrant plus. This is so nonsense, but well, I can't complain much, that's just what I can do, adapt to the environment. I was placed in this private school, New South Garden School, which my mum is now currently teaching in. There's also primary school, so I just got into it. My school is just next door to mum's, which is a real convenience for me. I could just slip in and say hi to her, or just have my break there, and yes, there's when problem often arouse. Students here calls me anti-social, or they are just being jealous of having me being an ABC. Duh, that's alright. I'm fine with it. They should be glad that they are just one-of-a-kind race. Just purely their culture is best, need not to fustrate over certain small issues. Today is first day of school, I'm doing my final year in this school, next year I'll be joining mum, yes! Having to sit a major exam called UPSR, is really a torture for me, eventhough I could maintain good grades so far. As I gladly preparing to go to school, my nonsense little sister cried aloud, not wanting mum to go to school, just because she wants mum to be in the house. Feeling quite rejected, I started making some noises to rush mum out, to get rid of that small chunk. Unfortunately, mum rejected me. This is what a middle child's fate. Left=out. Now I understand why I am so independant. Honestly, not saying that I'm boasting or what, but this is the fact, eventhough I am just 12 years old.
